If you are looking for a London college of clinical hypnosis or professional hypnotherapy training, LCCH International® offers a structured pathway from learning the foundations of hypnosis to developing the knowledge and practical skills required for professional clinical practice.
We have always maintained that hypnotherapy is a unique, stand-alone professional discipline in its own right, and our courses reflect that. Taught by highly experienced therapists and lecturers, our training enables students to deal confidently and effectively with a wide range of physical and psychological symptoms — from the so-called straightforward, through to the complexities of trauma.

What you can expect from us
We don’t simply teach you how to use hypnosis. We help you develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to work professionally and ethically with clients.
Practical
We demonstrate every technique we teach before guiding you through its practical application — and you practise every one of them, always overseen by your lecturer or supervisor.
Professional
Our Practitioner Diploma covers the National Occupational Standards for Clinical Hypnotherapy and adheres to the CNHC Core Curriculum.
Supportive
A minimum of four personal tutorials are built into the Diploma — time for your clinical case study, and to talk to an experienced clinical hypnotherapist.
Flexible
Join us in person in London, or live online in the classroom. Teaching runs over intermittent weekends, usually once a month.
Lifelong
Advanced short courses, CPD masterclasses and the Alumni Community carry on supporting your practice long after you graduate.
Inclusive
No previous experience of hypnosis is needed. Our students come from commerce, industry, healthcare, therapy and domestic life.
Practical skills-based training, in the room or live online
We pride ourselves on teaching you how to develop effective and practical hypnotherapy skills built on sound theoretical foundations. It matters that you not only know how to guide someone through the hypnotic experience, but also gain a perspective from your client’s point of view.

Trained to recognised professional standards
In accordance with good ethical practice, joining a professional association is part of studying with us — not an afterthought once you qualify.
National Occupational Standards
The Practitioner Diploma covers the National Occupational Standards for Clinical Hypnotherapy and adheres to the CNHC Core Curriculum.
Student membership from day one
On joining the Diploma you are eligible to apply for Student Membership of ThinkTree Hub or the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Membership is mandatory while you train.
Insurance and supervision
You need professional indemnity insurance while on the course; discounted cover comes with membership. On graduating you practise initially under clinical supervision.
On successful completion you may use the designating letters PDCH after your name.
Taught by practising clinicians, not career lecturers
Our courses are taught by highly experienced therapists and lecturers who work with clients themselves. Students consistently tell us the variety of lecturers is one of the things that makes the training work — you see more than one way of practising, and you learn to find your own.
You will meet the teaching team properly at an Open Day, where you can ask them the questions that matter to you before committing to anything.
