How we collect, use and protect your personal data, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are
LCCH International® (the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy International) is operated by BCCH International Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17034638. Our registered office is 10a High Street, Chislehurst, Kent BR7 5AN.

What we collect
We only ask for what we need in order to reply to you or to deliver training you have signed up for.
- Enquiry details: your name, email address, telephone number where you give one, and whatever you write in your message.
- Application and assessment details, including any medical information you choose to tell us about that may need to be taken into account.
- Student records required to administer your training, assess your work and award your qualification.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, recorded by our web host.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry — legitimate interests.
- To administer your training — performance of a contract with you.
- To meet our obligations — legal obligation, where we are required to keep records.
- To send you news, dates or offers by email — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Health information — explicit consent, used only to make reasonable adjustments and assess suitability.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
We do share it with service providers who help us run the college — our web host, our email provider, and the systems we use to manage enquiries and student records. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Where your training requires membership of a professional association such as ThinkTree Hub or the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis, you join and deal with that association directly. Any data you give them is covered by their own privacy policy, not this one.
We will disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are kept only as long as they are useful, and then deleted. Student and qualification records are kept for as long as we need them to verify a qualification we have awarded and to meet our legal and insurance obligations. Financial records are kept for the period required by HMRC.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work and keep it secure. If we later add analytics or embedded content that sets cookies of its own, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Ask us to delete data where we no longer have a good reason to keep it
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- Ask us to transfer it to another organisation
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we rely on

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so that we have the chance to put it right.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we hold your information on systems with access controls and keep it no longer than we need to.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant, we will tell you directly.
